Depression always gets worse this time of year

The bad weather, the early darkness, the normal people getting giddy about the holidays...tomorrow I'll have to fight through the snow to get to a job I hate...it's hardly worth it. Already stayed home today, can't do it tomorrow. Every December I wonder if I'll make it through and it gets worse every year. Booooo.

Thank you. Apparently I've made it to the New Year but who knows how much longer.

I hope you give yourself the chance to feel joy again...yeah I relapsed in a major depression during the "holiday" season too....it sucks. You definitely aren't alone.

Are you feeling better?
I got through the holidays fine this year (first time in a long time), but then crashed shortly after and haven't gotten out of it yet.
Also being away from therapy for a few weeks probably didn't help either.
This line scared me a little bit even though I don't even know you:

Hang in there!
