This is all about confronting our relationship with food. You have to write down an entry (about how you feel) before you eat every meal/snack. You also have to write a stream of consciousness every morning (2-3 pages). I tried this before I visited family last month and totally abandoned it until, well, tomorrow. I have a relationship with food with very little boundaries. I eat to hurt myself for days. I obviously want to change that. Has anyone here attempted food journaling to change their relationship with food? I want to specify because I am not referring to keeping record of every morsel I input.
Cheers!

That's what I had to do in treatment.

This sounds like a really good idea. I think I'll try it too. I've been having a horrible time with food for most of my life but I haven't been able to "trick" myself out of this year long binge this time. Im not sure what to do or try for it so this will be worth a shot. Thanks!
