I've been sinking into a pit of depression and anxiety the last couple of months. I struggle to function.

Thanks for the replies. I hate to even post when everyone else is working hard on themselves and I am just trying to tread water right now.

Hey Brownblob, for the record, I had a meltdown 2 weeks ago and needed the help of my therapist and my doctor. Hang in there.

Hello Brownblob,
Haven't heard from you lately, I hope you are well.
(Visiting this thread just now because I'm feeling pretty low myself these last few days. Kind of unstable..)
For me, sadness and depression are like back pain.
When you have it, that's all you can think about.
When it's gone, it's still a memory but a faint one, and a little hard to fully recall to mind.
BTW - Your posts in the past were helpful to me. Hope to hear from you.

Was on my morning jog/walk/jog/walk this morning SD and came across these two above my head drunk on summer berries. Made me think of you immediately and hope you feel a sense of comfort knowing your thought about.

Hello Mental Fairy.
Thank you. I love birds, they've always helped me.
(Except maybe when a Scarlet Macaw started chewing on my earlobe at a pet store many years ago for unknown reasons, drawing blood. I actually started to feel like I was going to faint. People later asked me why I didn't smack it, but how could I? Such a magnificent being. I didn't want to hurt it. The store clerk came over pretty quickly to intervene anyway ).
