Guilty Notes

So for the third time now, I listened to the episode with Dr. Guy Winch about feeling guilty. Yes, I have felt guilty my entire life. I feel guilty immediately after any happy or proud moment I have. Most recently I felt guilty after being hired by a great company, with great hours, with great pay, and with great benefits. I did not have a connection, I earned this completely on my own. (I even feel guilty saying that.) Needless to say, after hearing the good news, I fell into a spiral of negative thinking and feelings of guilt for the past 48 hours. I cried a lot and then decided to follow Dr. Winch's advice and rationalize with myself why I should not feel this way. Here it is: my wall of reasons why I should not feel guilty any more: Day 1. I am going to continue writing these down every time I feel this way. http://imgur.com/ljE6uW2 Most of the reasons have to do with how sad and guilty my dog, Snickers, looks the majority of the time. I can not help but feel it has something to do with me. I can definitely get on board with not feeling guilty if it affects my dog. I hope this helps some one else!!!!!!!!!!! Here is my dog, Snickers - see how mad he is for me feeling guilty?? http://imgur.com/ZR1CtMv
