On not having a relationship in a long time (as in decades)

Hi.
I have posted before in the sexualaity forun concerning a problem I had going to strip clubs and spending too much money. I am in my mid-forties and am unmarried and childless. I believe that for me it is best that way.
I do have a question though , mainly for women. If you find out that a man who had not dated in a long time does that automatically make him a freak?
Also, and here I think that the dame is dong- if a man has been with many prostitutes in the past but no longer does this is one maked for life?
I am wondering if I should even bother trying, that's why I'm asking
