Making hot drinks at work.

I've just finished day 4 of a new job and had to do the hardest thing. I offered to make drinks (or 'the brews' as we say in England). Why is this so scary, I really don't know. I've already participated in meetings and made myself useful but was so terrified to make people a drink.
Fortunately only one person accepted the offer and he seemed happy with the cup of tea I made.....

Well done for facing your fear.

Thanks, tho it's hardly a fear just something everybody else finds easy but fills me with dread.
Next up, using the microwave instead of buying a sandwich for lunch....

I encourage you, kindly and gently, to give yourself a bit more credit: courage is a scaleable thing.
I also encourage you to give yourself some patience and time regarding using the microwave. Enjoy your victory (keeping in mind that a so-called "small victory" is still very much a victory) regarding the tea; maybe you can wait for the microwave until next week. Savor your growth.
You've done well.

Today I used the microwave. I've been there almost 2 weeks now and are starting to relax a little.

Very good. Well done.
Remember, also, that you don't have to rush these things. You are Enough.
