Hey..... my name's Christatoonist. I'm new here.
My main illnesses are panic disorder with agoraphobia, generalized anxiety disorder, major depression (or bipolar II, depending who you ask. =/) All of this is informed by gender dysphoria, and the realities of life being transgender. As my name suggests, I am a cartoonist. This recent one kinda explains a lot of who I am and what I have trouble with:

I have a bunch of others, but I don't wanna spam here, just introduce myself.

Hi Christatoonist!

Your little bat character (?) is adorable! I feel like I've seen her before.

Please don't be afraid to share your cartoons - I've found that examples of situations have helped me rule out possible problems as well as rule in problems. If I don't fit the classic diagnosis terminology sometimes having examples of the spectrum certain disorders can fall on helps me rule that 'Okay, I have touches of that.'

I'm an artist too - I paint for a company that makes carousels. :3

Love the cartoon.

I'm trying to eliminate the last part of the cartoon. I'm trying to accept, that just because I'm limited by my anxiety, I'm not a horrible horrible person and I am trying to stop myself from calling me these horrible names.

Thank you both. Yes, the condemnation when we reach our limits with our illnesses..... ugh. It's like the truck of mental illness runs us over, then backs up over us again.

And yes, a lot of people say she looks familiar. Perhaps because I based her design on this fellow?
