I notice that there has been talk of google+ hangouts which have never transpired. I have a new suggestion: a series of small, private facebook groups for specific topics/interests. That way people could exchange messages, post comments and have live chats when others are online. I'm a UK based writer/musician/comedian with depression, chronic pain and insomnia. I'm willing to set up a group myself where we could post longer items about our own lives, maybe even a kind of blog/diary, links to videos, podcasts, books, news items on relevant topics without clogging up the already huge mental pod forum. Anyone interested in joining my group?

I'm interested! But I would have to do something here in Orlando / Ocoee FL. Maybe we could all keep trying to do this and some groups will form!!!
