Hey,

I'm new to the forum. I have downloaded and listened to about half of the podcasts in the last month. I am loving them.

I am a recovering Mormon. I have depression. I have an appointment this Thursday to talk to a counscler. I figured it was time to get some help. My wife is a great support, but doesn't really understand why I am depressed and no longer want anything to do with Mormonism and God. It is hard on her, and makes it harder for me.

I am glad I am here and hope to find some like minded souls.

Welcome, friend. Good luck with your counselor. I hope you can start to find some relief from your feelings. My own spirituality has taken some strange and unexpected turns since I finally started being honest about my illness, and I definitely know where you are coming from.
