This is about being sexually abused as a child, and the effects that it had on me. I have this thing when I write songs where I don't realize what they are about until a few weeks after I finish them. It's metaphor heavy, which I think is honestly just because its something that is still hard for me to talk about.
The Pain Transfer Summoners
The many markings in the hour seem to warn us of their greeting
when strung out watchmen in a tower always seem to cry in secret
we are bound in such a way that strikes our gaze upon the ground
in total silence comes the masks again, we cannot hear a sound
The pain transfer summoner
will make you feel like a demon in your own skin
the pain transfer summoner
will knock you out and you will never get back in
and in the evening I'm as listless as the languid lightning bugs
and in the morning I'm awoken by electric ladder rungs
and thoughts are twisted as the language left by passerby before
I am shameful I am weak I am filthy I am insecure in scores
The pain transfer summoner
will make you feel like a demon in your own skin
the pain transfer summoner
will take you out and you will never get back in
spend too much time in borderlines we mapped out many years ago
formed relationships with menacing exclusionary ghosts
in desperate actions we will gather pushing back as we pull in
all the fading love we seek to siphon into vacuum bags and jars and storage bins
The pain transfer summoner
will make you feel like a demon in your own skin
the pain transfer summoner
will put you out and you will never get back in
The pain transfer summoner
will make you feel like you do not deserve to live
the pain transfer summoner
will take at least two times anything that they can give

Re: Lyrics to a song I wrote.
Pain transfer summoner ... wow. Powerful words. That's how it works. We don't create pain. We hand it down. But that's just my two cents ...
I'ld love to hear the song to this.

I like it a lot. It's got a nice rhythm to it. Kinda clunky to read, but I think it could be a great song.
