Hello, I'm Rua and I'm an Aussie who was diagnosed with Chronic Depression and a variety of anxiety disorders waaaay back in 1995. I'm a nurse, the daughter of a single mother who is a rampant narcissist, and an alcoholic father who took off when I was one year old. I've been through several bouts of severe depression, daily panic attacks interspersed wight he occasional dissociative panic attack, addiction, alcoholism, blah blah blah. Gave up the drinking in 2000, and the drug addiction in 2007. I'd been taking Allegron for depression since 1995 until June last year when the company that makes it decided that they didn't want to continue to reliably supply the public and I was basically forced to stop taking them. It's now a year later and I'm feeling the best I've felt in my life. Sure, I still have my demons but I keep them at bay by eating the right food, exercising, and being creative.

I've only just discovered the podcast.
