Hi, new member here struggling with depression and identity

Hey everyone,

I started listening to the podcast a few months ago and have really identified with it, and figured now is as good a time as any to get into the board.

I'm nearly 25, and have dealt with anxiety and depression for roughly half of my life. I recently graduated college and have been feeling worse since then -- though I know that's typical, I juggle between the idea that I'm feeling worse because I already am a naturally depressed/ anxious person, or alternatively, that I'm practically tricking myself into feeling this way because so many of my peers have directly out of college as well (if that makes sense). I'm currently unemployed, feeling a bit isolated in my hometown, and have been experiencing some unexpected relationships problems after returning home from a month abroad.

Additionally, I struggle with my sexual identity -- I'm a bisexual female, but unfortunately have never gotten to express that physically, especially since I've been in a near five year, monogamous relationship with a man. It's something I often stress over and a source of a lot of my anxiety.

So I guess that's about everything going on on the surface -- didn't wanna get too deeply personal since this is an introduction, haha. Looking forward to being part of this forum!
