~ hiking to a remote area and getting really quiet so the wildlife comes out from hiding, then seeing some critter and knowing I am the only person who will experience that animal in that moment in time in that particular scene, and then capturing it with my camera
~ geeking out on my hobbies and being totally comfortable (actually, preferring) doing them by myself
~ bossa nova
~ the way my cat lies with her body in the crux of my armpit and her head resting on my chest, every night
~ genuinely connecting with one of my patients and being able to offer insight beyond what they expected
~ the smell of lilacs in spring
~ eating clean, especially when it comes from my garden
~ painting over a really dirty wall with a great new color
~ working out harder than I thought I could
~ cozy cup of coffee on the couch, wrapped in a fuzzy blanket during a storm
~ the kind of hug where you feel protected and loved and safe and you don't want to let go or be let go of (haven't had one of these in about 8 years)
