I've been doing these goofy little sketches for a while now. I,of course, figure that since I feel like shit about myself that my work must always be shit too, despite all evidence to the contrary. When I exhibit, I sell, when I show my work I get exhibitions. After a whole mess of encouragement I figured I'd start posting them on-line as an attempt to get some of my creative life back. One drawing a day, and see what sort of response I get.
All the drawings feature a sleeping very round cat. While aliens, octopuses, barking dogs, and everything else inserts itself in Round Cat's life, Round Cat just sleeps. Or meditates, or just isn't bothered.
A little bit of light in a mess of heavy.
