exhausted

Post by justsomeoneinacorner »

It has literally been years since I've posted - but I'm back. A lot has happened in the intervening years, mostly good, but some bad. Right now my big struggle is exhaustion. I've been pouring myself into my work, and while my career has reaped the benefits, I think my overall health is suffering, especially my weight. I came back here because I wanted to get some things off my chest, but I don't know where to start yet. So for now, I guess I'll leave you all with a simple 'Hello'.

Exhaustion is a wholly expected outcome from the amount of work you describe.

Hi justsomeoneinacorner. I don't think that is 100% because of your work. When I am healthy, working long hours energizes me. It's when I'm depressed that I feel exhausted constantly. What are some of the other things you wanted to delve into? I am here to listen

sometimes I just stare into my phone, my tablet, my laptop to run from my own thoughts. This is not how I want to live, but there is just so much going on that I can't manage that I hide. It's awful. I want to climb out of this hole, but I don't know where to begin.
