I made it through the week.

Coping amidst chaos seems less daunting to me now.

I feel like there is a lot going on that can’t be put into words, for me, and everywhere else.

I’ve been changed, but not altogether in a bad way. I feel alive. If anything, maybe a little too alive.

And the sky seems to be falling down less so today.

Today.

I finished my assignment yesterday. As predicted I didn’t hyperventilate today. So it’s situational.

There’s still a foreboding fear of change but, no hyperventilating.

Just recovery breathing.

Now that I have weathered that it feels important to adjust my relationship to change. And drop back into my new-ish habit of getting also-excited when roused by anxiety. And leaning into my sleep regime.

I’ve also started a list: ‘Things to Stop’

1. Stop fighting change quite so hard

Hello Beany,

I'm sorry to hear of your work struggle but glad that you made it through so far with perhaps some increased insight.

"Stop fighting change quite so hard" ... sounds so simple but is a profound change to make.

Sending heartfelt warm wishes for some peace for you.

I still feel too alive. Don’t really have the words. My breathing is fine though. There’s the risk of unraveling hanging in the air.

My sleep has come back so I’m not too concerned about the risk. I feel like I am sitting 4/5 of the way up, against a cliff face with the top just above me.

Two days until vacation. I just have to sit. Then move nice and slow. Then rest. And adapt.
