Hello Beanie,

Wow, that's almost too much for one day and one person!
I hope you feel well soon.
Rest and fluids, as they recommend....

And post here if it'll help you work thru anything, we're listening.
Then I went to the Japanese take-out after work and ordered using some Japanese words
Do you like curry? I do. It's Japanese comfort food. Mmmm.... :)

I don’t hate Covid isolation.

It takes until lunchtime to recover from sleeping.

But having a clear reason not to leave the house is great.

And my paranoid disposition somehow accepts that and switches off.

Apart from Covid symptoms, mental health-wise I’ve basically powered down.

It is so interesting ah beany.

Only had it once and it was really weird. I felt invaded in a cellular way. Was put on medication that made everything taste like metal. Use the time to reflect how much you are a positive influence on this platform!

I’ve spent today in isolation. I have been practicing not overreacting to each new thought. It’s working some of the time.

Sometimes I’ll respond, ‘Aha! Overreaction’, remembering that’s what it is.

Sometimes it will happen and I’ll think, ‘trauma response’, sort of implying, ‘not necessary at this time’.

Sometimes it feels dangerous and I roll my eyes mentally and just think, ‘chill dude’.

It doesn’t seem like a lot but I know the cumulative affect of awareness and the many de-escalations will have a positive effect on the reduction of my trauma defenses.
