I do wonder how many people would go out of their way to see the man if he visited New Zealand. I think I would like to see if his skin is really that yellow!

I guess it would be like seeing a rare bird. The orange tufted dodo.

That's a good one, but I'd rather not have it it on my life list ;)

Looked around but the only bird-related moniker I could find for him is "Donald Duck-the-Draft"

------------------------------------------
Attached are the many many names that have been made up for him.
Has *any* other politician in the world ever evoked such scorn?

He truly deserves it. Such a vulgar, ignorant and juvenile man-boy.

This is the A-hole who's hawking, like a QVC pitch man, overpriced bibles, watches, gold sneakers, and action-hero cards (of himself! for gawd's sake)

Makes me want to retch. A total embarrassment.

:D I haven't watched the news on TV for a looong time, it gives me the shivers. And the worst thing is, that's exactly what the powerful want people like me to do.

I stay informed, but the delivery/packaging is really important. Long form articles and coverage is what's needed.

Gave up regular TV news long ago because of the incessant commercials and if-you-don't-tune-in-at-just-the-right-time-you'll-miss-it. Also the hyper-pace and shallow coverage. Still have it in case of emergencies though, as an extra incoming channel for information.

Lately with the upcoming horror of the 20th, I've had feelings of dread like it's the end of the world.
Which is really a little stupid and self-absorbed, because for many people it *is* the end of the world (the Cal fires, Gaza, Ukraine, many other godforsaken parts of the world.)

Thinking about it too much leads to despair.
