My depression manifests in mixed up emotional cues. I don't get upset when something major happens, but a minor irritation sets me off. Here's an example: my mom was once in a car accident (she was fine) and my heart didn't even skip a beat when I had heard. However, when someone fails to return a text or something along that nature, my mind immediately conjures up negative events from any point in my life.
So that's where I am now. Like everyone here, I have my own story, but I think the common theme here should be encouragement and support. That's one thing I've seen from browsing this forum.

Mike,
Yes. Hopefully you will find support here. On the days when there are no answers to my depression, it does help me to connect to someone else who knows how i feel.
