Was this to hurt you, or a sloppy attempt at pointing something out that might help you? Did they lash out in frustration, wanting, but not knowing how to help? Or are they such an evil and angry person they only want to hurt you?
Humans seem to feel a good offence is the best defense, as in - it’s easier to back someone off by calling them a name than considerately describing what they feel is a problem then digging deeper into it. But the last thing we really want to do is hurt our partner or mate.
If you love this person, and trust them, can you handle listening to their concerns? Do you think there’s anything you can actually learn from them?
