Holy balls, I am depressed and lonely

Hi all. I am a middle aged woman with a wonderful daughter. I am married to a man I no longer love. I have struggled with depression my whole life. My father is a sober alcoholic, and my mother is the devil... a bitter, resentful, angry woman who hated her children. I have not spoken to my parents in 4 years.

I have isolated myself. Despite being very outgoing and charismatic, I have no friends. I am very lonely and very tired. Iam not suicidal, but like one of the recent guests on the podcast said, I often think about just having everything be over. I would never take my own life, my brother committed suicide when I was 17, he was 22.

Well, that's my sad-sack life. Thank you for the podcast, Paul.
