This is a bit of a plug, but rife with mental illness!

Hi all, I've been a fan of the Happy Hour since episode 1, and am a bit of a podcast freak in general. I deal with clinical depression, anxiety, and ADHD, so the show has been an incredible boon for me—finally, I felt less alone, and the stories in the show showed me that even my heroes have more is...

Good place to find local support groups?

I've done a cursory look around for stuff in my area (east/central Los Angeles), but I'm not sure where to find good ones. Does anyone have any good site (or group, for that matter) suggestions?

-BA

Is there an agreed-upon place to notify admins about such things?

In a Strange Kind of Stasis

Hi, y'all, I'm a creative type, with fairly difficult anxiety and depression problems. I'm in a new city, freelancing for the first time (been a staff worker forever until I moved here). My working life now involves a giant amount of "work for exposure," gladhanding of high-powered people,...

Re: Todd Sawyer

Man, I agree so wholeheartedly on this. I was up late insomniac-ing, listening to the podcast (hoping Paul's voice would lull me to sleep). When that line hit, I broke. I started crying and didn't stop for half an hour, then I went and wrote pages and pages about what I was feeling. That unsatisfiab...
