Re: Episode 182: Pia Glenn
Yeah, was really disappointed in this one.
A bit of research would've reveled the Rushdie thing, and Paul didn't pursue the perpetually single thing enough. It happened to be just the topic I needed last night, but it left a lot lacking.

Re: Episode 133: Adrienne Selbert
I disliked this ep for a couple of reasons. 1. She didn't have a very good sense of humour. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but if you know what this podcast is about and what Paul's like, why come on if you're humourless? 2. Her journey to and experience of Christianity. I loathe it when people say t...

Re: Romantic/sexual misery
My poor friend me - Also... Yeah, I've read about "Nice Guy" incel jerk offs, as well. After that guy shot up the women's gym, there was a great discussion thread on Gawker when it was discovered he was a Men's Rights Advocate shit head. One of the commenters wrote beautifully about how a ...

I didn't lash out 'cause I'm in pain - I argued because I disagree with your point.

Opinionated Canadian
Hello, all. I've already posted a few times, but thought I should still introduce myself. Struggled with self-esteem issues, depression. Mediation helps, therapy less so, but haven't given up completely yet (on therapy). Love the show, find it immensely helpful. So glad it exists. I'm also a bit sno...

Also, politics and the treatment of the mentally ill (or those struggling with mental health issues) are inextricably linked. Political things are going to come up on occasion.

Thanks, all.
I have to be true to myself while still pushing myself out of my comfort zone, I guess.
