Re: Another sad story but with a dog

I will. Have to, I guess, cause not doing is even harder than avoiding it.
Hope to see you on here again.
Thanks for the advice. :)

Re: Another sad story but with a dog

Thanks for sharing. That's really inspiring. I just bought "Art & Fear" and "Around the Writer's Block". Feels really good to know that I am not alone in this and that there are ways around or rather through this. I like the idea of focusing on the breathing, since that is al...

Re: Fakebook suggestion: being...genuine?

Re: Just like a little kid

This breaks my heart. I totally empathize with the state you're in. Growing up was nothing but pain for me. Re: Fakebook suggestion: being...genuine?

Honesty and vulnerability are great virtues, but the ability to protect oneself from harm is even greater. Find the right people to talk to, find your place, find your tribe, but watch where you're looking out for this, just like you would mind where you buy your food. I think it is noble to still p...

Re: Another sad story but with a dog

This is comforting to hear. I guess you wouldn't be here if it was otherwise. I'm working my way through my fears too. Art is just something so terribly intimate for me. Creativity comes so naturally to us when we are kids. How could it become something that we fear? I'm trying very hard to make it ...

Re: Dark Arts

Your gallery is really impressive. And about the discrepancy between your art and your character ... in it's healthiest form I think art is the valve to let out all the dark stuff. So we are not happy despite our dark art, but because of it. The nastier my writing and drawings are, the calmer I feel.
