Re: Speaking two different languages

I've been married 18 years to someone who I struggle to communicate with. We have moments of greatness, majority is good. But there's these valleys of WTF. It's going on a week and we've barely spoken. Going through the motions of a busy happy family. But inside, I just want to cry. I'm so lonely. I...

Re: FREE PTSD book

So, I am married to a guy, who's a veteran of recent wars... he's dealing with PTSD.

I'm thinking of checking out your book. Hopefully it will help me help him.

THanks for sharing your story.

What is this? The need to stretch, pressure points, etc.

I'm not sure this is anything... but I think it may be. Ever since I was little, I had this "thing". This overwhelming urge to stretch my legs and arms and muscles over and over again. Then, on top of that, I bite certain parts of my lip in certain areas and finally, I press on or bite the...

"anger is a misdirected plea for love"

Agree? No? I am one angry person. I hate a lot of people. I hold grudges. I feel like people are always asking something from me but never return the favor. My anger is almost always directed to my MIL. She drives me crazy - especially the way she says, "I love ya!" and doesn't freaking sh...

Re: What's the point?

Are you feeling any different after that post and the replies?

I know what you are going through is HUGE - its HEAVY.

There can be a light - there is a light. The problem is that it takes a lot of work to crawl your way out. BUT YOU CAN DO IT.

I'm thinking of you.

Hugs.

Re: I hate my life

senoranonymoso - how are you today? How long did it take you to get out of your funk? Depression can be paralyzing - usually I just want to crawl into a ball and hide from the world. Sometimes I think, if I just drive west, I can start over, be someone else... What are you doing to treat your depres...

Re: Happy light

I used to start going to the tanning salon in February until the end of March. It helped me tremendously. Not to say I am ad advocate for tanning, per say, but the UV lights were amazing.

I felt wonderful the rest of the day. It totally helped me!

Re: Living without BFF

I appreciate the comments of you both! Typing it out last night, I cried. I really cried and that's how I know that's what brings me the most sadness these days. I find when I am pissed, angry or whatnot, I just keep moving - having no interest in dumping these random issues onto anyone else. I also...

Re: Hello :)

Well Keith, I think that you definitely have a legitimate issue with meds. My recommendation would be to find one that gives you the least side effect and stick with it. Don't start with the "intro" dose - go a little more, then adjust as needed. For me, it's been an ongoing battle as to w...
