Re: Awesome Article on Narcissistic Mothers
Oh this is amazing. The article Paul read previously on Co-Narcissism was such an eye opener. This just is the icing on the cake. My mother is extremely narcissistic, something I learned in therapy, after years of thinking I was the crazy one. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Re: Parents forcing me into graduation ceremony
My mother has always said that you walk at your graduation ceremony, not for yourself, but for your parents. I just graduated with my Associate's Degree, and earlier this spring, I mentioned that I was tempted to hold a graduation party. My mother replied saying "An associate's degree is not a ...

Re: LettEggs' Vacation Diary
Not a vacation update, since that is over, but just a life in general update... I quit my 3-day old job on Friday morning, and went to school to search and apply for a new job. 15 resumes later, I applied for all of the paralegal/legal assistant/legal secretary/receptionist positions in the area. I ...

Re: LettEggs' Vacation Diary
I survived...Almost didn't get let back into the states once we landed in Chicago though. More on that at the end of this... Everyone got upset when we landed in London, because the signs for the train I wanted us to take into the city were not seen anywhere, so everyone got upset and then we got on...

LettEggs' Vacation Diary
I just have to put this in writing somewhere, because it all just seems too good to be true. It is part awefulsome, part vacation fights. And it just keeps getting better. I have a cousin in England who is getting married Saturday, so my family (parents, 2 brothers, I) are going over. We booked the ...

Re: Typing and counting
I balance words, phrases, and sentences. Every letter is either right or left sided, and words have to be balanced when I say/read them. It's difficult to explain, and a friend of mine once said that because of that I have Asperger's (She is so incredibly wrong). I find myself, when I am under a lot...

Re: Scar Tissue
Thank you for sharing Paul. I've been dealing with scar tissue for 20-30 years. 20 years of physical scar tissue, 30 years of emotional scar tissue. I was in and out of the hospital all of the time as a kid with kidney problems. It wasn't until a few years ago that I realized that all of the night t...

Re: physical symptoms related to the mental issues?
I never had those issues, but my entire body aches when I get severely depressed. about 7 years ago I did a trial study on Cymbalta, and one of the side effects they were looking at was whether or not the drug affected the physical side effects of depression.

Re: Co-Narcissism Article
I just finally got the chance to listen to this episode. The article resonated with me, as a co-narcissist dealing with a narcissistic mother my entire life. I had realized in the past that she was narcissistic, but never realized just exactly how much of an impact that had on me. I haven't been to ...

Re: At 1hr 40 min in today, Paul read my shame and secrets
Paul read mine last year, and I had not listened to the podcast for a while, so I was completely not prepared when I started catching up on what I missed and heard him say my name before reading the survey. I can still feel the reaction I had...Sweaty palms, heart racing, starting to hyperventilate,...
