Re: Sixteen pages to be delivered to my Mother on 03/28
I can really relate to what you're going through. I'm not in contact with my family except for my dad, and barely any contact with him. I sent my mother a letter a year ago and never got any response. Thanks for sharing your story and if you ever need someone to vent to, let me know.

Episode 155 - Andrew Donnelly
I really enjoyed this episode. Andrew was funny and totally forthcoming, and Paul interviewed with a light touch, allowing Andrew to speak his truth, but still directing the conversation. What was really cool to hear was Paul's reckoning with his own possibly abusive behavior in his past, later duri...

This episode was great as usual. I hope Lindsay is doing OK... She seemed funny and friendly. I hope she found a good therapist and is enjoying her work and life.

Re: Fixation/"social" advice?
Wow, that's interesting. I think I can relate a little from using Twitter - there's a guy who follows everyone that I follow but doesn't follow me... I like his posts a lot but it seems like he thinks he's too good for me... Anyway, for your case, I think you should try again one more time to let th...

Ep. 150 - Ryan Sickler
Paul just keeps getting better and better... Ryan was/is a fucking CHAMP and his story was amazing. A key part of his story to me was the whole "forgiveness" aspect. I don't think Ryan was the first person on the show to try to forgive his mother and then later regret it. We do that becaus...

Re: I'm getting help: underearning.
This was an amazing thread for me to read. I have been unemployed for the last five months and have struggled with finding the motivation and courage to move forward. Reading Oak's posts reminded me of how much I do have and can use to get myself and my wife to a more secure spot. Thank you so much ...

Hey gf, Thanks for creating this thread. Sounds like you're going through a lot and I just wanted to say you're not alone and that I (and many others I'm sure) are rooting for you. I've been doing some reading on narcissistic parents. My mother is an extreme narcissist. Maybe your parents are/were t...
