Re: Suggestion for Podcasts
The first part of this I totally read. I've been to LA once - I was carsick and ended up puking in a Ralph's bag on the way to LAX. Every respect for the city and its occupants and I'm very happy to see Paul able to pull the caliber of person who did write on Conan (the Barbarian?). That said, I'm a...

Re: The Diary of Mr. Chimney
6-June-2014 I got sent home early because I didn't know off-hand how many boxes I had scanned when the Kazakh guy came around to ask. Apparently the answer "I don't know; check my computer screen. It's right there" said while hauling boxes to the scanning station. I went home with my alte...

Re: An attempt at honesty
Can I just chime in and say that the idea of a guy walking with a stick through the streets of Cardiff on a foggy evening is an awesome image?
Glad you're getting the writing juices going. Thanks for the book, man!

5-June-2014 The Week of Happiness, Day Four: In Which I Went to Find Paul in Chicago (but he wasn't there so we did band stuff instead) It was Grade 12 - the year before the First Big Goodbye. It was the debut of my legal interactions with my father of a kind that would see me unable to go to unive...

Re: A Forum IRC?
I assume there's a way of doing that. We can always PM the password amongst ourselves until it (hopefully) takes off. Alternatively, I think there's a way to hide threads to non-members on forums like this. Perhaps the password could only be seen after making an account? I'm certainly open to sugges...

4-June-2014 The Week of Happiness, Day Three: Goat Beer Goat beer is fucking disgusting. I have forgotten its name, but it joined a retinue of beers including Zubr, Tiger, and some other animal-themed tallboy available to kids at the LCBO. The summer before my high-school class departed for univers...

3-June-2014 The Week of Happiness, Day Two: A Vivid Scene of a Cafe in Paradise My Girlfriend and I went to Malta in January. Neither of us quite knew to expect - Malta's rainy season is around that time - but what we got was paradise. This country is among the most perfect places I have ever seen....

Re: A Forum IRC?
Hmm...bocephus raises a good point. I only know how to set up rooms which did the trick for us but I have no idea as to capacities/benefits of one versus the other. What are your thoughts? There seems to be interest, which is awesome! I know I often get home from work when my girlfriend is sleeping,...

2-June-2014 The Week of Happiness, Day One: Business (ft. Mr. Chimney) I have been responsible for keeping my kid brother well-adjusted. I tell him the things he needs to know that the Catholic-Suburban Axis won't teach him. I taught him what to do about his suicidal father; I taught him about eati...

Re: Well hello!
I think you may be the first person from Nebraska I have ever written to. Hello! I know next to nothing about the state except that there's a football team called the Cornhuskers and that there's an Omaha in there somewhere. And a Lincoln too, I think. But I digress. I'm glad to see that you're gett...
