Scratching certain surfaces

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to freak out when I see or hear someone running their nails along a seatbelt or other certain materials like the cloth in a car or on a couch maybe. Re: My Boyfriend Is Kind of Mean To Me

Andi, I totally relate to what you are saying. I had an ex who I felt was not treating me well. Every time he screwed up, he would do the same thing.. "Sorry for being a dick".. as if that made it better. I ended up leaving him, but even after doing that, I ended up missing him and questio...

Re: Low point

Hi rivergirl. Did you ever call 211? I am experiencing similar symptoms like you, but I am always afraid to say anything for fear I will get put in the hospital. What do they do on 211? How are you feeling now? It is such a struggle feeling like nothing you do helps the depression and anxiety. I hop...

Re: exhausted

Hi justsomeoneinacorner. I don't think that is 100% because of your work. When I am healthy, working long hours energizes me. It's when I'm depressed that I feel exhausted constantly. What are some of the other things you wanted to delve into? I am here to listen

Self sabatoge

I have felt extremely depressed the last few days. I had a boyfriend who is extremely good to me, but when I feel like this, all I can think about are ways to sabotage the relationship. My therapist thinks it is because I don't feel I deserve to be happy. I WANT to be happy. But whenever I am, I am ...

new and seeking support

To anyone who might be reading this.. hello! I am nervous but also excited to have found a forum like this. A big thank you to Paul for everything you do. I feel the need to say that I am not here to feel sorry for myself. I know so many here have it a lot worse. But regardless, I am depressed, anxi...
