Re: Episode 144: Listener Seth
Wow. This one hit me really hard too. If you read this Seth, hang in there and keep on keepin' on. There is help out there for you, the hardest part is reaching out, and I think you are there.

Re: Lexapro and ADD Stimulants?
I believe so. My husband takes Celexa (earlier version of Lexapro) and ADD meds - not sure which one but I know he had to try a couple before finding one that worked. (I think Adderall made him super crabby).

Re: Borderline Personality Disorder
Wow I haven't been on the Forum in so long I forgot my username. :? Anyway I just listened to this episode today and was flipping out by the middle of it (when she said that everyone who cuts has BPD). I was feeling like something was off with the interview and that clinched it for me. Then I looked...

Re: Inability to think clearly.
Hi BikeForDays My husband was treated unsuccessfully for depression for a few years before he was diagnosed with ADD at 35. They often go hand in hand - I think the term my husband uses is comorbidity? Anyway my husband has had some success with ADD meds in addition to an antidepressant. And they ar...

Re: Steve Agee episode (thanks!)
I loved this episode. He describes panic attacks really well. Wherever you are, you just want to be somewhere else.... And the stuff about opening up to people and how nice they can be. When I started telling people about my anxiety I found out so many people I know have some form of it. One of the ...

Re: Pretty on the outside; Broken mess on the inside?
I often have such negative thoughts about people and their motives that I think people who know me would be shocked if I ever said them out loud. On the outside I'm a friendly person, try to stay away from the office politics, parental drama (meaning the helicopter parents who obsess over every aspe...

Re: Why Can't I Be Her?
I just had this feeling that the nice people were supposed to get some type of reward, too. But any system that plays favorites is as inherently flawed as the person controlling it. Unfortunately I have yet to work or study anywhere where no one plays favorites. It's an unfortunate part of life. My...

Re: Honesty? Hoping to stop fucking that noize.
Anyway, the snacks brought that day were unreal (king-sized Reece's pieces. We felt like winners.). Love that story. When my younger daughters played little league in 3rd grade, I had to explain to their coaches that the kids really could care less about their standings. For them it was all about c...
