Hi Everyone,
I have been listening to the show for about a year. After years of all sorts of therapy, gurus, endless medication tried, the podcast has turned out to give me the most reliable relief. When I am really struggling with depression or extreme procrastination I can listen to a episode and feel better. It just helps me cope.
If I have the podcast playing in the background I can actually get things done. Loneliness is the real killer for me so listening to show feels like I have a friend who gets it.
Over the years, I have been on the "big spin" of diagnosis'. I've been treated for depression, major depression, treatment resistant depression, ADD. More recently it has been suggested I may have borderline personality personality disorder. I have done support groups as well for depression, alcoholism, food issues. I am considering going for love addiction.
Listening to the podcast, I realize that a lot of people have had multiple diagnosis' and treatments and are still trying to find the thing that "works'. I like Paul's idea that the seeking can be the therapy.
I want to be part of this community because you guys make me feel somewhat normal and a lot less alone. I hope I can help do the same for others.
