We've all come here for some sort of support, understanding and validation. And if nothing else, a place to vent!
Haven't had major surgery (yet!), or faced a life-threatening emergency (yet!), but have certainly thought about it (and have been with friends and relatives in those circumstances).
Even though you're under anesthesia, surgery is still a major insult to the body. Can't underestimate that. And easy to imagine how alone you probably felt when you were going through all that....
Anyway, nice to have you on-board.
