Unknown Battle *here*

Post by UnknownBattle »

Hi everyone-

I have signed up as Unknown Battle, because life is:
Im a mid 40s male who's embattled in family struggle, abuse and probably the "best" gas lighters in the business. Now, I'm new to these words that younger folks use. I grew up with ppl saying "dont take my inventory" which probably describes gas lighting...BUT, probably adds a bit more to this.

I feel not as a leader or man anymore; but, as a person whom is on the sidelines watching ppl. Someone whom is watching but is afraid to say ANYTHING because of what has transpired. My father is deceased. The Grandparents who raised me have since passed.
Sidenote: I felt honored to take care of them in their last days rather than to see them pass with strangers. I even left my career to spend the later part of 2015 to 2019 assisting in their day to day care.

Probably more than what you'd like to see in an introduction, but thank you for reading.

Hello UnknownBattle,

Yes, welcome!
I even left my career to spend the later part of 2015 to 2019 assisting in their day to day care.
That was a big move, and quite commendable of you. End-of-life is not always easy.
And boom, then the Covid upheaval!

I hope you're able to restart, or find a new path that's rewarding.

Regards

Hello and welcome.

We all relate on some level and as a product of my grandparents bringing me up and also in my 40s with an odd family of death and grief I look forward to hearing your journey.

Yes- I especially like the comment about relating to being raised by grandparents.....
I've so much to say and don't know how to start. Just know that my interior voice keeps crying out but seems
as if its afraid to be heard or to even speak.

I feel like the first stage of a Falcon Rocket ...not quite able to get thrust velocity to escape the known payload .

Ill post more soon, thank you for your time.
