Hi
I am a 27 year old who has been dealing with depression, self injury, borderline, and things related seriously for 12 years and not so acutely for most of my life. I love my dogs and they have saved me many times. I love piercings and tattoos and want more!

Darkness,
Welcome! We're glad you're here and I think most if not all of us can relate to what you're feeling or experiencing. I started a Borderline thread if you want to connect with some people over there, I'm sure they'd love to have you participate. Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

Re: Hi
Oh, pets are great medicine, indeed. Honestly my most pressing thought when I go into a downward spiral of catastrophizing, is that if the worst happens (homeless, jail, etc) I'll lose my cats. And when I'm not home and I'm feeling anxious or sad, I take comfort in knowing I can snuggle a kitty when I get home. Probably sounds cheesy but I think many people will know what I mean.

Re: Hi
There are a couple tattoos I'd love to get, but I'm too chicken! That's probably why I failed at the traditional self-injury that usually accompanies depression... I just went with anorexia instead.
Anyway, welcome!
Anyway, welcome!
xoxo,
