Did anyone get any understanding of why and how she works defending violent attackers similar to her own attacker? I heard some vague comments about power, but I really didn't get it. It didn't seem to be a forgiveness thing either. I keep thinking my player skipped over a section.
Your thoughts appreciated.

Hello Heather,
Haven't listened to this yet, but had that immediate question upon reading the episode description.
Our justice system.... gotta love it and hate it. Everyone deserves a fair trial, but sometimes you just gotta shake your head at the mechanics of it ...
I did start reading "The Body Keeps the Score" after hearing it mentioned so often, and it's an interesting and quite accessible book. (Don't have any overt trauma that I can think of, other than the trauma of being a conscious human being in the year 2019/2020.... Sigh...)
