Awesome episode/show! A new podcast to add to my list! Thank you :)

"Giving without expecting anything in return" seems to have been working for me too. I think when you expect returns it's your need to control everything/everyone coming out, and you're just projecting expectations.

Tiburon, CA sounds quite a bit like the majority of CT in terms of the attitudes of people. Perhaps it's happening all over these days? Sort of a disconnection with the people around you. For me at least, I go out of my way to allow others to make turns, or doing things like picking up fallen merchandise in stores instead of walking over it. Always makes me feel better. Never ceases to amaze me the disconnection that many grown adults tend to have.

Hi there,

Thanks for checking out my podcast.

I am sure you are right about the disconnect being everywhere. Like you, always try and go the extra for people like you say in traffic, etc. It blows my mind how many people I let go ahead of me and they never acknowledge the favor. But it is that giving and expecting something in return thing again... I am a certified people pleaser that wants recognition for doing so..ugh.

Again, thanks for listening.
