Episode 37: Lia McCord

Post by manuel_moe_g »

Another great one, Paul! Your voice conveys such tenderness and compassion, it is so amazing to compare to your depressed negative view of yourself! :!:

Wow, I really admire Lia McCord. Her ability to forgive her father, to not feel sorry for herself. Her sense of taking responsibility for her poor decisions. That she used her time in the Bangladesh prison to learn Bengali and learn and experience the culture! And her immense bravery in her statement in the end of the podcast. What a great human being! 8-)

I really like this one too, to be in just one of those situations Lia found herself in (prison, being molested) would be enough to damage anybody, but to suffer both as she did and to come out as well as she did really says something about her.
