I think once Juan goes to therapy he might see a difference between anxiety disorders such as body dysmorphia and self esteem issues after a second listen to the show. As I've said in previous posts having anxiety and having and anxiety disorder are not the same. thoughts?

Agreed, although diagnoses are based on somewhat of a subjective threshold.

Juan seems like a kind, sensitive person whose definitely had some challenges. It saddened me to hear about his painful memories about his father. I was happy to hear when he said he'd like to talk with a therapist. I say the same thing... and I understand that it can be hard to put into action. Sounds like he is on the right path toward healing.

I enjoyed the episode.

I really gelled with this episode. My dad is from Mexico and I can relate to a lot of what Juan felt, even if the stories are different.

Probably the most relate-able episode for me thus far. I know how it feels to dread a parent coming home from work. Not just b/c of the threat of physical violence, but b/c they're a drain to be around.
