Episode 151: Listener Confessions
Episode 151: Listener Confessions
Hey
I've been listening to the podcast now for a while and have to say I fucking love this episode. I guess I listen to the podcast for enjoyment purposes more than anything and usually scrub ahead to the survey section towards the end of each week. Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised to find a whole episode devoted to nothing but surveys!

This episode was so lovely. Everyone's stories are so amazing, I loved it. It made me wonder how boring stories get written in movies or whatnot when there are so many things that real people go thru that is so much more interesting and worth listening to.
As a side note, the thought of floating in a safe bubble in a storm at sea made me feel super comfortable. There is something beautiful about that.

What was the name of the therapy Paul said he went under? The one where they mapped out his brain and rewarded him for positive thought patterns?
I've been interested in using EEG machines to control people's mi- a variety of reasons to do with computer input and stuff. This just seemed quite interesting, being able to identify when someone's having certain thoughts.

I usually love listener emails/surveys, but I can't finish listening to this. I found it to be too triggering, I want to finish though,
Does it end on a happy note? I'm afraid I'll get all depressed/anxious listening to it.

Re: Episode 151: Listener Confessions
I'm kind of afraid to listen to this one. As much as I like the surveys, emails, etc. I don't know if I can take two hours of them, especially if they are too dark. But people here seem to think it's a good episode so maybe I'll give it a try.

One of my favorite episodes. I wouldn't mind having an episode like this a few times a year.
