Candy vs Fruit

Post by snoringdog »

Just had a sweet grapefruit, and before that a few raisins and a date! (Went to a farmers market earlier today)

I remember a time when I would eat a candy bar a day for the sugar rush, and out of habit.
But candy feels like a fake after having given it up for awhile....

(When Halloween is over, sometimes I indulge, but never feel the better for it afterwards).

Give me a mango, a date, an apple, instead!

I had a dream about my dead father, and in the dream he was preparing and eating a huge pile of delicious looking fruit. The fruit was so beautiful that in the dream I wanted to get a photo of it with my smartphone!
