I say this not to seek pity, but to remind us of how valuable our community is, here.

Oak, I feel the same. And sometimes, when I feel a little whiney and posting thoughts here that are unshareable anywhere or with anyone else, I'd like to clarify that I'm not fishing for pity, it's simply that I know that there is a safe place here to get things off my chest, in the moment they strike me and from anywhere: in my workshop, hiking, out in the city, while laying sleepless. More often than not, there will be a response by this gang that makes me think a little bit differently, feel a little less lonely and a little more understood. I think what we have here is rather unique in this fast-paced tiktok world.
