Feel like I'm drowning again
Re: Feel like I'm drowning again
Thank you again, Fargin, ovoce, oak, for all your supportive posts and kind words. An update: I spent about $1500 to treat one of the medical issues for the cat I "inherited" from my ex's parents. His quality of life seems to be better now for whatever months or years he may have left, so I'm glad I made the decision to do that. I had a couple of more difficult things that happened shortly after I last posted, but somehow mentally and emotionally I seem to be weathering them or at least not sinking further into depression. There was a complete reorganization that was done abruptly at my work which resulted in a lot of stress for everyone. This included a higher level job than mine being eliminated and I was given a lot of the extra responsibilities and people to supervise without any salary increase. I also found out that I needed to have surgery and genetic counseling about possible cancer. I had the surgery and am awaiting the results. I think I'm coping with that as well as I can given all the other things that have happened in my life in the last few years. Anyway, thank you all again for reading my posts & replying!

Thank you, Oak! Everything turned out fine with biopsy and there don't appear to be any genetic cancer syndromes in my family.
