Hi Manuel Moe

Wow, very much like this. May i please ask to what level you were bullied and how you managed it at the time?

Words are so powerful aren't they. They are so much harder to understand when the recipient doesn't understand the context. They start friendships, form enemies. Announce marriage and divorce, start wars and end lives.

The bullied inner child needs to be acknowledge.

Listening on a podcast at lunch i heard a man say that media, tv and social apps don't portray reality. There is no such things as reality tv. It is mealy a form of forming a false reality. The young generation are so disconnected and now bully with new and painful methods. It's is displayed and put on show for the world to see. What will they become?

It is my rational self that would bully my inner children

There is an inner child part of me that would be defiant and oppositional to my rational plans, and my rational self would try to bully him

There is an inner child part of me that would try to manage my moods and engage in coping mechanisms instead of working on my rational plans, and my rational self would try to bully him

I want to apologize to those inner children for a lifetime of bullying by my rational self

(1) This is good to get out, Manuel Moe, difficult as it is. Lots of people can’t face some difficult matters, and push it down. I hope you find growth and peace.

(2) With imitation being the most sincere form of flattery, do you mind if I borrow your fine idea of observing one’s younger self, and start a similar thread of my own?

Yeah, that would be great, Oak, I would really like to read that.

~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a whole plan for bringing these younger selves along for my latest rational plan, but my therapist wisely said I should start by devoting a week to apologizing to my bullied inner selves.
My rational self is so impatient, wants the results now. Good to learn some patience and some humility and some compassion
