Thirty minute bookend: anxiety.

Post by oak »

Friends, I am wracked with neurotic anxiety.

My plan:

15 minutes of applying for jobs (see my concurrent work bookend thread)
15 minutes of kettlebell
Eat some vanilla wafer cookies
Take my prescribed Buspar
Hold on

Wish me luck!

Good luck Oak!

I like the juxtaposition of kettlebell and vanilla wafers. Nice plan. :)

Thanks, RiverGirl!

I applied for the jobs, and enjoyed the dollar store version of Nilla Wafers.

It was getting to 9:30, so kettlebell was not going to happen. Instead a few minutes on the stationary bike and five minutes of tai chi were an accomplishment.

My anxiety is better, I guess. I have a lot on my mind, with the midlife crisis and work mishegas.

They say the world ends at one’s front door; society isn’t requiring anything of me until tomorrow at 8:30 am, so for now I’m going to watch a Hallmark movie.

While all of my efforts are good, what is even better is that we have stuck together. 🙂

Oak, maybe try so NSDR? Sounds like we have similar anxiety patterns. Has been helping me.
