1. Oh Man

One day in 1989, being an innocent 13 year old, little did I know my life was about to change as soon as I saw this:

The looking through the eyelashes. Ooooh.

Then, later, when they were writhing on the tree, I remember realizing, in awe, that there was a much bigger world out there. I was stunned.

Another way this video informed my sexuality to this day is that little move (that I've since stolen from him) at 3:20: act like I am going to kiss her, so she wants to be kissed, and then not kiss her. I'll of course kiss a second later. Playful teasing.

2. Heterosexuality Confirmed

This is a thinking man's beauty.

The second crime listed in this post (the first being the grainy footage from the Chris Isaak video above, though nothing is lost in the translation) is that she did not become the icon of a 90's fine person just going around being all fine all the time.

The perfectly tousled hair, the glasses, and (heaven help me) the half-smirk at 0:24. Goodness.

3. Sexy vs. "sexy"

I am told, a dozen times a day, that Instagram models are "sexy".

The irony is that trying to be "sexy" is the least sexy thing ever. Two exhibits:
