I wonder if it touches something they feel in themselves and that's why they're uncomfortable. I hope you feel comfortable to say all you want to say here.
I'm really selective who I share my darkness with. Very few people can hear it. I wonder if it's the same fear?

I think that's right.... after all, everyone struggles even if they don't appear to be doing so. Like swimming hard enough to keep your own head above water, but unable really to support anyone else.
Encouragement and negativity are both strong inducements since we're social animals at heart.
Thank goodness his last post was very positive, but if you want to read a gut-wrenching thread that really plumbs the depths but has amazingly compassionate and supportive responses, read "Subhuman" by Failbot.
There have been a few times in my life when I felt the same way as he, but probably couldn't have punched it out as clearly....
