@oak: Great! You’ve been sober for 6.5 years? Wow, that’s really amazing. I never thought that it is possible to be sober after you’ve been alcoholic for so many years. I envy you for that. While I can relate with “iwishicould”, I’m also an alcoholic, I can’t resist not to take a drink for a day, my problem is when I start drinking I can’t stop myself until I passed out. I really want to stop this bad habit of mine. So if it just fine with you oak, can you give me some advice? Or tell me how you become sober? I really need some help now, I can’t take this anymore. I've been digging the net lately, researching stuff pertaining to a rehab program. Currently, I’m reading this Drug Abuse Rehabilitation Denton I found a while ago, hoping that I could find a solution about my addiction. But still doubting if this will really gonna work.

The med has worked well and I found an AA group that I feel comfortable with. That and this website/forum/podcast have been very helpful to me.
