That's a good one. Perfectly oblique but descriptive in that haiku way.

I used to spend every morning, all morning, in a quasi-suicidal state where I would basically, in my head, be going, 'I could do this next task or... I could just kill myself.' It would fade without fail by about 1pm.

Thankfully it's no longer like that.

But this week, I'm having this weird variation. I've been obsessed with finding the perfect BMX bike. I feel like if I don't get it the world might crumble. But I have to choose very carefully because choosing the wrong bike will have the same disastrous effect.

At the same time I'm now self aware enough to know it's not what it seems.

And again it dissipates around 1pm. It's so intense, and annoying. But I'm grateful it's about BMX bikes and not suicide.

There's no way I'm buying a BMX bicycle. I don't care if the world does end!
