Hmm...are they born that way, or "trained", or some combination of both?

Have you come across any useful insights or info on narcissists?
Does anything seem to work in your favor with her or your brother?

From what I have been reading they have usually had difficult childhoods and have chosen to become a narcissist as a response.

They could either say, the world hurt me so I am going to hurt everyone or the world hurt me so I will do what I can to make sure this doesn't happen to others. This is what I believe anyway. I think it is a choice followed by a series of behaviours that they eventually believe the lies they tell themselves
