Paul used to be in the forum big time, but that was a very long time ago

I am too star-struck to interact too much with Paul, basically worried I will blow it and be stripped of my moderating privileges

I would have concerns about the gentleman's wellbeing.

I express that because when viewing his profile I see that he was last active about 3 years and 5 months ago.

Does anyone here actually know if he is okay?

Okey-dokey. So he is doing okay. Good. Just a thought.

But that "basic cable" I'm not sure I get. That is cable television? And he was shown cooking chicken? Brings to mind a fella I remember on TV a few years ago called the Galloping Gourmet. Well, maybe more that "a few years" but I - - - well, we are referring to Paul and I suspect he's not the Galloping Gourmet fella, right?

Cooking chicken, eh? I thought that was only that Kentucky fella that did that in the U.S. of A.

He once did a thing for TBS network called "Dinner and a Movie" where they would cook and make lame jokes during breaks in the movie. He has often made self deprecating jokes about it on the podcast.

That seems pretty neat, if that fame stuff works for you. Myself, that stuff about being on a TV show or even properly identifying myself on the Net, well I just don't feel comfortable about any sort of fame stuff.

Oh yes, and I am absolutely terrible at that basic human job called 'cooking'.

Anyway, I guess this Paul fella is a sort of celebrity type of human, yes? That's pretty neat. I hope he returns to some sort of active form here on this Online Community. Be neat to exchange a few thoughts with him. Maybe.

Anyway, brownblob, thank you for the update.

Shortly around my appearance on the show, I corresponded with Paul a bit via email. He is actually the person that finally convinced me to start attending a support group meeting that has absolutely changed my life (for the better).
